A pedophilic sculpture at BBC headquarters, based on the The Tempest, portraying Prospero with Ariel as a naked boy (WHAT?) attacked and damaged during a massive demonstration against the Covid lockdown, has been repaired and replaced.
The artist of the sculpture, Eric Gill, was later revealed to be a horrifying pedophile who raped his own children, yet the BBC has refused to remove the sculpture after the debased activities of the artist were revealed.
It so happens that the real author of the The Tempest, Francis Bacon, was a pedophile. From the most recent Bacon biography:

Prospero is a book learned magician in control of everyone on an island just like a writer is in control of his characters in a play. Thus, Prospero was Francis Bacon, the notorius pedophile. What is it with the UK and pedophilia? It’s the Shakespeare effect. Big-time Shakespeare scholars like Stephen Orgel, who tie the themes of The Tempest to those found in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, now admit, after 400 years, that A Midsummer Night’s Dream depicts homosexual pederasty. The play includes plenty of beastiality, partner swapping, homosexuality and more drug-induced trauma bonding.
A Midsummer Nights Dream is about theater and the relationship of myth, imagination, poetry, dreams, sex and love to reality, AND how they all relate to the maintenance of a system of social control with sex as a central component. A Midsummer Nights Dream is often performed by schoolchildren because it has faeries and music.
