Interesting post. I never know what to make of Freemasonry - to deny it has had influence on modern history, particularly the British/US Empire (with its current Masonic 'Five Eyes') would be foolish. Its very nature as a secret society makes it difficult to discern exactly what that influence has been, and to what end. There's clearly some sort of connection to my preferred candidate, James VI/I - some say he was the very first to be initiated. Scotland clearly plays a big part in Freemasonry. Personally, I tend to steer clear of the rabbit hole for fear of being lost in it.
Do you contend that Bacon 'invented' Freemasonry himself by cobbling together myths and mysteries from the past such as the Eleusinian mysteries, Gnosticism, Mithras, King Solomon, Knights Templar, etc. or do you see him as a continuation of them somehow secretly passed onto him?
Not to get too puffed up but yes- I think I found the evidence for ALL of those things you mention- "Do you contend that Bacon 'invented' Freemasonry himself by cobbling together myths and mysteries from the past such as the Eleusinian mysteries, Gnosticism, Mithras, King Solomon, Knights Templar, etc. or do you see him as a continuation of them somehow secretly passed onto him?"
Harland Davison's book proves the later connection to globalism. It was Bacon's psychological understanding, gained via Shakepseare that made it work as a global operation, but then again, the Templar's and the Mithraists were semi-global.
Bacon had connections in all directions as a blue-blood. He was a real insider/outsider. He had to (almost literally) kiss King James ass...and he did so willingly. He knew and loved the game.
There were many geniuses there in London at the time. Drake, Raleigh, Gilbert, Dee, Hariot, Bruno...it's a long list.
Son of Light? Mithra sounds like another name for Lucifer. Opposed to Christianity? The Freemason “Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita” published in Italy in the 19th century is their manifesto outlining their wildly successful destruction of the Roman Catholic Church via infiltration and institutionalized secularism.
Great Job Sir! I took notes : ) There was so much good stuff in here; Colin Still and 'The Tempest' as initiation, of course it's first in the 'First Folio', we have been initiated! ~ Bacon saying that he wants the 'reformation of the world' and the same language being in the Rosicrucian Confessio. Is that your main evidence for Bacon as Rosicrucian Author? ~ 'The magician, scientist, playwright who initiated the entire world into the elite imperialism of the empire of science.' Great line. ~ Gnostic trip and the Pfizer image; disturbingly hilarious. ~ Loved the summary of your previous play analyses; concise and creepy ~ 'psychological state magic' another good line. ~ 'without Eleusis there would be no Christian religion', I totally disagree, but we can't agree on everything, that would be weird. ~ Gnostics coming from the destruction of the Jewish Temple; this would make a lot of sense, the lines about Hiram in 1st Kings v. 13-51, DON'T EXIST in the Septuagint (oldest version of Old Testament) c. 2nd Cent. BC, it seems these verses could have been added, they do show up in the oldest known Masoretic OT Texts c. 920 AD, called the 'Aleppo Codex' AKA the 'Crown', it's funny that the Templars took this book hostage around 1099. Maybe they added the verses, unlikely, but interesting, maybe the Jews added the Gnostic verses after Temple destruction because they came to view their God as evil, something to be overcome with self will. If you know anyone who can translate 10th Cent. Hebrew, let me know. I cant find the 1st Kings Aleppo Codex in English. ~ Adonis as the Rose reborn, fantastic. ~ Adonis is similar to Cernunnos/Green Man in the dying and rebirthing veggie symbolism. ~ The Amorite Tammuz statue looks like he could be wearing a snake or a lions skin. Hercules? ~ You said that the Templars didn't have goddess worship, but they did through Mary. They had lots of Black Madonna Statues and Bernard was a HUGE advocate for Mary as co-redemptrix with Christ. Technically Mary was a widow, and the baby christ often has a red templar (Rosie) cross behind his head, maybe representing the initiates as equals with the 'son of god' in the arms of the eternal mother; the Queen of Heaven, Isis, Ishtar ETC. Keep it coming and God bless you sir!
WOW. Great stuff Mr Ramey. I had no idea that some of Hiram was not in the Septaguint. Great info about Templars and Black Madonna. I must look further into that. I am looking for where the Goddess came back into Freemasonry. Thar she blows. Fascinating.
The Amorite Tammuz statue looks like he could be wearing a snake or a lions skin. Hercules? I will take a closer look!! Thank you!
My buddy and I are aligned with the Empire/Language/Shakespeare premise, the quote about language being an army with a dialect, except we push the conversation back to Philip Sidney, older than bacon, more artistically minded, but just as aligned. Both would have been at Oxford and grown up in Cecil household. Walsingham is also part of the intelligentsia scene, whose daughter married Sidney. Look up Sidney's "Aeropagus" secret group, connected with other literatti on the continent. Plus there's no "British empire" without Humphrey Llywd and John Dee, the former who dedicated a history of Wales to Sidney and the latter being his personal tutor and family friend.
I'm with you 100% man. I really want to read Sydney, who was also close to Giordano Bruno, a titan in everyone's eyes, even Bacon's imho. Fulke Greville was big, friends with Sydney and Bacon and Bruno. Sydney died so young, how do you square that with helping with the plays? His sister Mary certainly helped! It was a time and era of great genius, Sydney of course included. The fabulous Peter Ammundsen thinks Henry Neville played a huge role writing the plays but I've never heard him explicate the evidence. Check out my article on Scotland/Freemasonry. I found a lot of stuff via Marsha Schuchard. A French poet named DuBartas who Bacon would have known in Paris looms large, as does Bacon's brother Anthony. As does the Family Of Love And the loathsome King James whose ass Bacon just could not kiss enough. 😃 !!! HELP! 😮 😃
Our wild card theory is that Sidney's death might have been staged or faked, I know that's a hard pill to swallow though. Still in the preliminary stages of a framework but he would be the strongest candidate if he hadn't died. We also found documentation that John Dee did a personal horoscope for Sidney which eerily predicted the manner and timing of his death - and I just find that phoney balogne. Stop by my YouTube channel where we are exploring every candidate eventually, haven't done much reading of Bacon myself, but am familiar with his position in the SAQ scene. Will definitely save your page and refer back to it!
"The strategic use of MYTH transforms the psyche of an entire nation. Bacon wrote a book on the myths called Wisdom Of The Ancients. He knew more about human psychology than Freud and Jung combined, and 300 years earlier. Sigmund Fraud’s main inspiration was William Shakespeare. Just sayin’."
This line made me immediately think of the salvation by syringe psyop/sacrifice we've been living through.
YES! Bacon’s greatest mythic creation is Scientism, a religion to which few know they are a member. But if one took the jab one is a follower of Scientism. That’s really why I labor so. Exposing secret deleterious religions hiding in plain sight. Thank you for your encouragement Rusty.
The idea of the „data centre” doesn’t seem to be new, Library of Alexandria, Medicis Library of Alexandria bis, The Templars, Jesuits and their education monopoly, etc.
Thank you Martin. Great question. Marlowe was plugged in at a high level but exited early- he was murdered in a tavern brawl goes the story. He was a spy and his death was a very strange one. Rumors are he lived on to write Will S's plays in Europe but there are no credible sightings. Like Will S. he left no direct evidence of his writing any plays and Baconians think Bacon wrote his plays! None of Marlowe's plays surfaced until after his death, leading to this sort of speculation, with no manuscripts of his surviving. His writing has always been compared to the Bards. I'm guessing he was going rogue, threatened the project and had to be eliminated. Just my guess. It's a deep and crazy rabbit hole.
I would have loved if you delved on the misogyny of the Mithras a bit more. It was the premise of the article but I found it was hardly explored. Incredible research, btw.

We ascribe to a "group Theory" position, that many hands and efforts are involved in "Shakespeare"

Thanks for putting this stuff up for free. I am thoroughly enjoying your writing.

Good point. Bacon put the pedal to the metal. Data is the key to his New Science. Knowledge is Power. Say it like the Terminator
Great piece, really enjoyed reading the article. Where does Christopher Marlowe fit into this?
